This website is dedicated to the Instructor Pilots, Foreign Student Pilots and Administrative Personnel of the 3389th Pilot Training Program – Military Assistance Program, Air Training Command, United States Air Force and its fellow flight training squadrons, the 3551st PTS-MAP, the 3512th PTS-MAP, and the 3389th FTS-SAT. The Instructor Pilots and Administrative Personnel of these four squadrons committed themselves to the training of pilots for the Free World. The Foreign Student Pilots, living thousands of miles away from their families and nations, devoted themselves to the task of learning to fly a complex aircraft in all phases of flight. They did so while using a language foreign to them, but never failing to strive for excellence in all their flying activities, both in the air and on the ground. It was through the combined efforts of these Instructor Pilots, the squadron’s Administrative Personnel and the Foreign Student Pilots that the squadrons developed not only leaders in aviation for many foreign nations, but also created friendships and goodwill for the United States of America and assisted in bringing many countries closer together. Through these efforts and others like them…men can come to further understand their neighbors and continuously strive to uphold freedom and justice for mankind throughout the world.
